Lawrence of Arabia, released in 1962, was a historical drama based on the life of T. E. Lawrence and his 1926 book Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Directed by David Lean, the film starred Peter O’Toole and Alec Guinness.
Nominated for ten Oscars at the 35th Academy Awards in 1963, the film won Best Picture, Best Director and the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture

I lost track of the number of times I saw this movie. The music and cinematography make it a worthwhile experience over and over again. The action plot makes it superior to “Dr. Zhivago”.
I also lost count of the number of times I have watched “Bridge on the River Kwai”.
