George Reeves (born George Keefer Brewer in 1914) died from a gunshot in June1959. He was best known for the television series Adventures of Superman (1952–1958).
Reeves death at age 45 remains controversial. Although ruled a suicide, some believed he was murdered or the victim of an accidental shooting.
